After Threats and Intimidation Kidnapping of Two Members of Hizb ut Tahrir in Ghouta of Damascus

On Tuesday, 11/10/2016, Haj Abu Malik, aged 55, was abducted from the city of Sakba, four days later, Brother Abu Abdul Rahim Joubar aged 32 years was kidnapped from Ein Tarma area on Saturday night, 15/10/2016.

We confirm that this kidnapping came after a campaign of incitement, threat, and distortion that targeted the Dawah carriers in Ghouta of Damascus by figures from Failaq Ar-Rahman (faction) and others associated to it. Failaq Ar-Rahman is in control of the two regions in which these two crimes took place. This attempt of kidnapping was preceded by the assassination attempt of Sheikh Abu Suhaib al-Najjar, by Jaysh Al-Islam on 04/04/2015, also the kidnapping of two members from Hizb ut Tahrir in Douma City on 26/4/2015, it turned out they were held in the prison of Jaysh Al-Islam for seven months. The perpetrators of these senseless crimes who were not deterred by the saying of Allah (swt): ﴿وَلَا تَبْغِ الْفَسَادَ فِي الْأَرْضِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُفْسِدِينَ “And desire not corruption in the land. Indeed, Allah does not like corrupters” [Al-Qasas: 77] ﴿وَاللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُفْسِدِينَ “… and Allah does not like corrupters” [Al-Ma’ida: 64].
They should know that the people of Ash-Sham will not leave the corrupters living unaccounted among them, the people of Ash-Sham came out (in demonstrations) to uproot corruption and tyranny of the criminal Assad regime. The leaders of Failaq Ar-Rahman should punish the perpetrators of this crime, and he should fear Allah, who thinks that he is given authority without checks and balances, and he should know that Allah defends the believers, that Allah is Strong and is the Avenger.
O Muslims in Ash-Sham in general and the people of Ghouta in particular:
Be as Allah wanted you to be: supporters of the truth and defenders of its people, and stop the oppressors who kidnap your sons... And know that your demands of the truth and perseverance on it, is an obstacle on the road of those tempted to disregard your blood and sanctities, or divert the path of your revolution, so stand with your brothers, the Dawah carriers. Do not let the fear of the tyrant’s oppression prevent you from saying the truth.

Imam Ahmad narrated in his Musnad from Abu Sa'eed that he said: The Messenger of Allah (saw) said: «لَا يَمْنَعَنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ هَيْبَةُ النَّاسِ أَنْ يَقُولَ فِي حَقٍّ إِذَا رَآهُ، أَوْ شَهِدَهُ أَوْ سَمِعَهُ» “No one among you should let the fear of the people prevent him from speaking the truth, if he saw, or witnessed, or heard it.”

An advice to Muslims working in the financial sector

Assalam wa alaikum wa rahmatullah wabarakatahu, Dear Brothers & Sisters, We are saddened to see Muslims today even those who practise many of the rules of Islam are working in jobs which involve haram in the financial sector. They are working in positions which involve usurious (Riba) transactions, insurance, the stock market and the like. Even though many of the clear evidences regarding the severity of the sin of Riba are known, some have justified their job to themselves thinking that they are safe as long as they are not engaged in the actual action of taking or giving Riba. Brothers & Sisters, You should know that the majority of jobs in the financial sector, even the IT jobs in this area are haram (prohibited) as they involve the processing of prohibited contracts. If you work in this sector, do not justify your job to yourself because of the fear of losing your position or having to change your career, fear Allah as he should be feared and consider His law regard

Q&A: Age of separating children in the beds?

Question: Please explain the hukm regarding separation of children in their beds. At what age is separation an obligation upon the parents? Also can a parent sleep in the same bed as their child? Answer: 1- With regards to separating children in their beds, it is clear that the separation which is obligatory is when they reach the age of 7 and not since their birth. This is due to the hadith reported by Daarqutni and al-Hakim from the Messenger (saw) who said: When your children reach the age of 7 then separate their beds and when they reach 10 beat them if they do not pray their salah.’ This is also due to what has been narrated by al-Bazzar on the authority of Abi Rafi’ with the following wording: ‘We found in a sheet near the Messenger of Allah (saw) when he died on which the following was written: Separate the beds of the slave boys and girls and brothers and sisters of 7 years of age.’ The two hadiths are texts on the separation of children when they reach the age of 7. As for the

Please refer to the original Arabic for exact meanings. Question: What is the Shari’ ruling in singing or listening to songs?  What is the hukm of using musical instruments and is its trade allowed?
